Terms and Conditions
All our beauty therapy courses are accredited by Professional Beauty, who are extremely well recognised and renowned in the beauty industry. If you are successful on completion of your course, your certificate will qualify you for insurance with Professional Beauty and will allow you to carry out treatments on members of the public.
After the course, you will be given full access to contact Exmouth Beauty Academy whenever you have any problems and are encouraged to return for extra help if needed or just to boost your confidence. We want to provide you with backup and support not just teach you and leave you.
Students must be aged 18 or over to study any of the accredited courses with Exmouth Beauty Academy.
You may be required to bring models with you. If so, you will be informed of this.
Full payment must be made 14 days in advance of the training. Payments can be accepted by bank transfer or cheque.
Students will be emailed a theory module to complete at home, comprising of a workpack and a test. The test must be completed and returned to Exmouth Beauty Academy within 3 months of it being issued.
After completing the theory module, students can book their practical training. Most courses will require one day of practical training and another day at a later date for a practical assessment of skills. Students will be required to practise their treatments on friends and family between the practical training day and the assessment day to ensure their skills are competent for assessment.
Practical training and assessments must be booked and completed within 3 months of completing the theory module.
Certificates will only be awarded if the student is successful in the theory and practical units and fulfils the necessary criteria set out by the course provider and its accredited body. This is at the discretion of the trainer.
A full refund will only be given to the student if the theory module has not been issued.
If the theory module has been issued, the student will be entitled to 75% of the course fees.
A full refund of fees or transfer onto a later course cannot be given if a student is issued with the theory module and fails to attend on the day of the practical training or on the day of assessment. Due to their popularity, the courses are in high demand and we may have turned down another student for your place.
If you have a beauty therapy uniform, then please wear this to the practical training and assessment days. If not, please wear comfortable, loose, black clothing and flat enclosed shoes (this is for Health and Safety requirements).
There is a no smoking policy at Exmouth Beauty Academy.
